The drug Bath Salts are also known to the world as Synthetic Cathinones. First recognized in France, originally made for medical use but quickly banned for their vicious side effects. Bath Salts are made by humans from a plant known as Khat. Khat comes from East Africa and Southern Arabia(NIDA). This is a very strong and overwhelming drug that can be deadly. It has the look of sugar or brown sugar and is packaged with the labels saying, “Not for Humans” (NIDA). Just by seeing that on the package, you already know it will not have a good outlook for those who abuse. Whomever is labeling the drug will try to trick authorities by labeling it everyday items. This drug of choice came from London. Spice is known to many as fake weed but make no mistake this is not regular marijuana. It is much more dangerous because of all the random and unknown substances that go into the “Spice”. Many of users do not find any harm in using this drug and tend to abuse it much more frequently. Spice is sold as a liquid, spray or in shredded material for its users(NIDA). So, as you can see it is easy to use. It is also sold so that it is pleasant and easy on the eyes, attracting its users. Often sold in bright colors and intriguing designs. Spice is most commonly smokes so that is will be absorbed by lungs and the then into the blood stream. The effect given off by this drug is causing the brain to overact. Users will tend to become lost in their own world, overly stimulated and having episodes of psychoactive behavior. This drug of choice is extremely addictive because of the side effects it gives off. This drug is not illegal yet but should be based off the side effects and deadly nature it potentially can have.
