Bath Bombs are soothing bath products that are used all over the world. Before they became popular they were only sold by stores selling organic products. Today they are sold everywhere. They also come in all different shapes, sizes, and fragrances. They are usually a combination of cornstarch, coconut oil, baking soda, epsom salt, and citric acid. Essential oils and coloring are always optional because they add scent and color. Bath Bombs have many ingredients that have many other uses. Some ingredients are used for other bath products but others are used in completely different ways.
Every bath bomb has an acid and a base. The baking soda ( NaHCO3) and citric acid (C6H8O7) are what make the bubbles. When these ingredients are put together

It can be used to moisturize skin or even nourish hair. Coconut oil has many helpful benefits for kids and adults. It has shown in studies to help kids focus. If taken regularly it can even improve sleeping patterns. Not only is it used for physical things but coconut oil is used to cook. Studies have shown that it has many health benefits. It relaxes and calms your body. Epsom salt relieves cramps and muscle pains. Not only can it do these things but it can prevent itching from poison ivy or a sunburn. Epsom salt also has some beauty benefits. Theses include smoothing rough patches and exfoliating skin. The benefits of Epsom salt are numerous. Epsom salt is even used for is gardening. The sulfur and magnesium are proven to help plants grow. The sulfur helps provide vitamins while the magnesium helps the germinate the seeds.
Corn starch is used for many things that involve food. It is mainly used to thicken broths, sauces, and soups. Corn starch thickens things because of the starch molecules inside it. These molecules swell when they’re heated. The thickening occurs because of the swelling. Corn starch is the perfect alternative for flour if you’re trying to eat gluten free.
