I wanted to make the team so bad i started practicing as much as I could so I woke up at 4:30 AM and i practiced every morning before school and right after tryouts which ended at about 5:30 everyday so then I would go back to the DRC till 8 then go back home and go to sleep. I would always do my homework in the morning on the way to the DRC because it took about 30 minutes to get there. So I tried and I made the team. I always went my hardest every practice like it was my last. I thought some of the plays were difficult and un-needed but it was still fun. Ever since I made the team in 7th grade, all my life outside of school was basketball because it keeps me healthy and it is something I can always get better at and it is fun all at the same time.
