Does Bancroft throw away trash? Absolutely, but this campus creates a habitat that recycles more than what we throw away. Furthermore, Bancroft has many programs that beautify the campus. We make our learning environment an example to students what it means to take care of our ill earth. We have many students and staff who really care and contribute positive acts to saving our environment.
To begin with, Bancroft students and teachers conserve energy. To clarify, at our school, most students and staff use transportation that does not involve the use of gasoline. For example, the English classes at Bancroft informed our students about our effects on the environment. First, They showed us the Plastic Bottle Video by Emma Bryce. The video showed the lives of three water bottles, basically stressing the importance of recycling. Many students, like myself, felt very strong about this topic. Personally, I bought a recycling bin for my family. It is very useful, and I am so glad I got it because I know I am helping the environment everyday.
