Gap Inc. is the leading global apparel retail company because of it’s multiple brands associated with it. The stores that are included within Gap Inc. are Gap, which also includes Gap Kids, baby Gap, Gap Maternity, Gap Body, and GapKids, and Gap Outlet, there is also Banana Republic and Banana Republic Factory Store, Old Navy, Athleta, and Intermix. Each of these companies have a different target market associated with them. Gap is one of the most iconic apparel and accessory brands that is known for their optimistic, causal and American Style. They sell all things denim, tees, button-downs, khakis, and must have trends (Gap Inc.). Their primary target market is very broad. They target lower middle to upper middle income households.
