The President must hold party loyalty, while fulfilling his role as our national leader doing what he must for our National Interest, even during international policy. Our President holds a multitude of responsibilities, which are intended to protect and control the country. Along with these responsibilities, the president must maintain the national interest, while balancing his loyalty to his political party and followers. He must be the Chief Executive, serving as the head of the Executive Branch and Cabinet, as well as serving as the head of our military forces as the Commander in Chief. The President must be able to perform in the Legislative Branch serving as the Chief Legislator, in which he possesses the final decision over whether a bill becomes a law or not. He must serve as our economic planner, in which he must be in charge of our country's economy and oversee the actions within the economy. All of these roles must be fulfilled for the best possible outcome for the nation as a whole, while maintaining party loyalty. Recognized by all American citizens, as being our national leader, the President must consider the common good of all citizens, as well as being loyal to his party and making choices within their interests. Because the President must act within specific guidelines within his role, he must act under a certain standard. This standard includes being ethical, standard, and being within his constitutional rights. Under these standards, the President will often argue and act upon his parties customs, and opinions for the betterment of the
