Bacterium Clostridium Tetanus: An Infectious Disease

Have you ever heard of the rare disease called tetanus. In fact most people don’t know what it is but it’s an infectious disease that contains bacterium clostridium tetani which is a bacteria that enters the human body from either a cut or a puncture.tetanus is usually found in soil,dust, and manure.this disease was founded in 1884 when 2 scientist named carl and ratlone injected animals with pus from a human body containing tetanus,but in 1889 a scientist named nocolaier found out that tetani was located in soil by injecting an animal with soil.although this disease is extremely rare with less than 1,000 cases discovered in the u.s. It can cause severe injuries and/or death.

Although many diseases spread from person to person.tetanus is one of the few diseases that doesnt spread from person to person in fact it enters the body from a puncture or cut threw a break in the skin by a contaminated object.for example you could be cleaning the yard and step on a nail and that nail could contain clostridium tetani because its found in soil and dust.
