With my passion for learning and my experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, I would be a good fit for the Honors Program. Throughout high school, I explored new ways to teach and learn various academic disciplines. I created a math competition club at our high school and volunteered at a Mathcounts club at our middle school, in order to help teach students mathematical concepts. I also pursued learning outside of my school, by participating in an internship at NIST. In addition, by being a member of the IB program, I believe I have gone through a program that mirrors what the Honors Program describes.
