As I began the second advisory, I started off very strong and ahead of the game. I was doing all my work and completing what I needed to receive a good grade. This was a result of me trying to keep up with my goals for the upcoming advisory too. I had left on with a B- last advisory and now that has dropped significantly. I am completely disappointed with my grade because these are not the grades I receive on a regular basis in school.
My current grade in your class is a D+ due to missing and low grades on your assignments. I was missing work in your class due to being out sick for a week during the advisory. The Albert.io assignments were troubling as a result of both the BNW questions and ACT practice. The first couple of chapters that was posted were easier for me to go through and answer the questions. having read the book over the summer and continuously scanning the book through my time in school. I soon found out that this was not the most efficient way to complete the questions that were presented to me. I needed a deeper understanding of the book’s plot and interpret how the character interacted with others and themselves through the society. After I received a couple of low percentages, I realized I had to read more and use outside sources to gather a better analysis of the book. Once I began doing so, I saw a slight increase in my percentages due to having comprehended more of the book. In addition, I also had a trouble with the journals because I was not reading and applying the comments you made on my papers. The ability to are very key things that are important to pay attention to. Furthermore, the ACT practice was also a challenge for me because I have trouble with the grammar part of any of the tests.
