B.A.S.E. jumping is in some measure considered a “sport” that allows individuals to parachute from buildings, antennas, span, and Earth. B.A.S.E jumping was first invented by Carl Boenish, a professional skydiver and cinematographer. Boenish was the first to parachute from Yosemite Valley/El Capitan, in California in the year 1978; he had an interest in capturing his jumps through the camera for him and others to enjoy. Boenish simply created the sport for rejuvenation purposes and to set his own goals. He and a group of other professional skydivers are what increased the population of those willing to try the extreme activity.

I strongly stand by not legalizing nor condoning this activity because it is extraordinarily dangerous. Jesus gave up his life so that we all can have one to live, trying to ruin that beautiful life by doing a stunt that will have you instantly killed is not worth going through.

Boenish knew that the cliff he jumped off of was a “suicidal cliff” and continued to jump which left him deceased and his friends and family to grieve. Anyone can have an exciting and sufficient experience just by living with both feet on the ground. Even though they tried making B.A.S.E. jumping invulnerable by requiring jumpers to carry liability and rescue insurance, that is in no way going to discontinue a person from

In Paul Johnson’s perceptive book, Sam Patch the Famous Jumper, Johnson casts a new light on aspects of American society that may have been undervalued. Sam, a working-class spinner, comes up with his own way to combat the growing wave of industrialization and suburbanization in America; stunt jumping off waterfalls. Sam is motivated by a number of different things, including his desire for the working-class to be given more credit and more respect than they have traditionally received in the past, which illustrates one of the novel’s most important themes, the conflict between the lower and upper socioeconomic classes in the United States. In addition to social conflict, the novel also addresses the idea of the rise of self-made fame, which…

Some conspirators believe that somebody else buried the money, but that is highly unlikely because someone else would have had contact with him (“D.B. Cooper: Everything”). If Cooper successfully landed the jump, there is a higher probability that he made it out alive. This is because the biggest danger regarding his survival was making it safely to the ground, not getting out of the area…
