Auset, also known as Isis a very well known goddess. She is the egyptian goddess of magic,giver of life, healing, wisdom, love, motherhood,renewal, power, and also marriage.The meaning behind her name is “ she of the throne”. Auset is the eldest sister of her three siblings, Osiris, Seth, and Nephthys. Their parents were Geb the god of Earth and Nut the goddess of sky. Isis (Auset) was not like the other goddesses, she would take time and sit amongst her people. She would teach them such things as how to weave cloth and make bread. Isis was worshipped as goddess of wisdom and medicine when she had taught people skills of how to read and of agriculture.
