Aurelia
The people of Aurelia have decided to break away from the modern society and create a new, profound, better way of living. Reasons for this decision comes from the recent governing system. People are tired of not belonging anywhere, of not having their voices heard. The community feels every time they try to stand up for something they truly believe in, a factor quickly intervenes and shuts it down; Consequently, making a corrupted society and an even further corrupted government. Where is that amendment that stated and enforced the freedom of speech? Or the 6th Amendment, saying that fairness is established based on a fair jury? As time passed and violence grew, authorities did almost nothing to prevent it; Instead, became the hated and the feared due to them not responding appropriately to in need of situations. Fears like these, along with costly health care and education, motivate the people to fabricate a new society where future generations can and will grow in an upright, cordial environment. …show more content…
Modern society is anything but fair, and that is Aurelia’s goal: fairness. The people need a change. They need to have a purpose in life, and Aurelia is perfect for that. This new society will be much different than the current one. Aurelia is leaving behind the materialistic subjects of society form a new government, health care, and
education. Although, a great deal of changes will take place, some concepts from today’s current society will stay in Aurelia. Part of these is: freedom of speech, press, and religion; a fair jury, and vehicle licensure policies. Without exception, citizens are convinced that present-day generations and the ones to come will be the ones to pass out the grace cup with the help of Aurelia’s new form of government, and
