Augustus Waters Monologue

My heart was pounding. I was about to marry the girl of my dreams. She was about to walk down the aisle. The aisle was flowing with rose petals and white penaeus on the pews. This is the day will be the day I will be with Hazel Grace Lancaster forever and she will soon become Hazel Grace Waters. I was leaking of joy. I never thought that I would get to live a normal life. The music began to start and so did my life. I saw my beautiful bride linking arms with her dad. She vastly walked down the red velvet path coming to be mine. There before me stands my muse, my everything. We have been through thick and thin. She stood by me the entire time. I owe it to her and myself to be happy and healthy. I could hear her footsteps telling me it is time …show more content…
Hazel went first. "Augustus Waters the man who makes all of my wishes come true physically and figuratively. Like When you brought to Amsterdam. I promise to be there for you no matter what. I never thought of you as a higher or lower level but as an …show more content…
I am so lucky that you are the one that wakes up next to me every morning. You are my rock, I need you and don't know what I would do without you. You are so selfless and always care for others before yourself and that is one quality no one can take away from you. Your ability to make me smile is like no other. You are diamond in the ruff. I love you Augustus Waters." I was about to start crying but I didn’t want to show my soft side. Next I went. "Hazel Grace soon to Waters, I remember the day I met you in that irrelivant support group. However, I'm glad I went, because if I didn’t I wouldn't have met you. You stole my heart the moment I first saw you. You fought for me as I did for you. I believe we were made for each other. Most people say they choose each other but I think we found each other. You are my best friend and I can count on you for anything. We were fighting on our own and then fought together. Two young cancer patients and the verge of ending make it through together. I cannot remember a time when I was content without you. You are the sun on my rainy day. Being with you is pure bliss; I am astonished that a girl as amazing as you would marry an one legged guy like

She was one of the girliest girls I knew since grade school, with her stylish culottes and pink garments of all different shades for all different occasions. She was the epitome of a mixture between pure innocence and quirk that boldly took her rightful place in the middle of my heart. Mary Anne wasn’t just all of that; she was also my affectionate girlfriend, my warm-hearted best friend who I could talk about anything with, from the most trivial things to the very meaning of our whole existence. At the time, all I could feel was the absolute joy that I got from spending my time with her. We had our entire happiness in the future planned out, a dream wedding and all, but maybe that was the reason why I wouldn’t have ever imagined that I would be feeling so lost and empty just a few years later, alone and missing a part of myself.…

Jessica Risner Heather Ward English 1101-41 October 5, 2015 “Love You Forever” Literary Analysis One of my favorite stories to read to my daughter is “Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. The story is about a mother who sneaks into her son’s room, once he is sleeping, and sings a song to him. She sings to him these words “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be (pg. 14).” My favorite part about this story is that once her son is a teenager, and even a grown adult, she still sneaks into his room and sings her song to him.…
