In an effort to push for continued efficiencies for everyone involved with the shipping of sand into the LGE Terminal in Carr, Colorado (“the Terminal”), I’m writing to request that Union Pacific (“UP”) approve delivery of 100 car unit trains into the Terminal.

Attached hereto is an operational plan which describes the physical car exchange with the Terminal track and a present-day map showing the track layout. Please note that at no time will the pick up or drop off of cars involve the switching or breaking of a train on the UP mainline.

The three parties involved in this sand move are LGE, Halliburton and UP. As you are aware, Halliburton is responsible for purchasing, shipping, and consumption of 100% of all sand shipped into the
