They attempt to influence policies in different ways such as engaging in election activities, lobbying the government, and educating the public about policies. The two interest groups that will support my bid are the Texas Agriculture and Food Special Interest Groups and the Texas Education Special Interest Groups. The former will support my bid because I will focus on enabling the access to healthy foods. 1 Once voted, I will ensure the access to healthy food by repurposing public land for cultivation and giving incentives to local grocery stores so that they could provide enough fresh food supplies on the shelve. On the land, the latter will support my bid because of preferred policies on education in the district. However, my bid for the seat will be opposed by the Texas Abortion and Special Interest groups and the Texas Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Special Interest Groups. The former will oppose my bid because I have a strong stand on protecting the unborn.
