Assessors carry out the assessment of learner as set out in the assessment strategy. Assessors must set out a comprehensive planning of assessment with the learners, giving students a working knowledge of how they will be assessed what criteria they will be assessed against as set out by the awarding body and what timescales they have to complete each assessment. This information can be given in the form of an assessment plan at the start of the course (induction) and agreed with the learners.
When assessing student work, assessors accountable for any assessment decisions they make. Assessors must ensure that all work passed is sufficient to meet the criteria of awarding bodies, and that all evidence is kept for the required period requested
