Artifact: Writing, Social Studies, And Math

1st Artifact is my lesson plan which includes objectives in writing, social studies, & math.
Objectives include: Lone Star problems, fractions on a number line, problem solving using reasoning, guided practice/independent practice, small group etc. (Math)
Writing journals, read/discuss passages, complete vocabulary, multiple choice, and short answer questions, as well as completion of their writing journal assignment “Show Don’t Tell Feeling” (Writing & Social Studies) this will provide a thorough example of how our lesson plans are done weekly, which provides classroom management and learning that is necessary for my students to excel. We provide a step by step model/guideline to ensure our grade level and team are on task and each 3rd grade class will cover the same material provided.

It covers the components of “Earth Space Science, Physical Science, & Life Science.” Earth Space Science consist of the moon, atmosphere, planets, rock cycle, metamorphic rocks, etc. Physical Science consists of friction, liquid, gas, matter, etc. Life Science consists of flower, stem, composer, decomposer, etc. This provides a great visual for all grades to observe in the hallway which creates a fun environment outside of the classroom. As students walk the hall it is a friendly reminder of what they are currently learning in science or will embark upon once they reach a certain grade level.
