Army Values Essay

The aptitude and conscientiousness to lead an ethical life of personal fulfillment that aspires to the greater good of humanity is my purpose in life. I started as a Cub Scout and a Weblos Scout learning from my leaders. Then I crossed over into Boy Scouts after earning the Arrow of Light Award. As a Boy Scout, and future Eagle Scout, I teach and inspire others to meet their goals and aspirations within the scouting program. The best definition of Scouting is found in the three points of the Boy Scout Oath, symbolized by the three fingers of the scout sign. Each point of this oath defines one of the fundamental duties of a Scout: Duty to God, and Country, Duty to Other People, and Duty to Me. I carry out these duties. As a student and scholar, I do my best academically to challenge myself to earn superior grades with honest work. As a cadet, I do my best to set an example, and display the Army Values, the Cadet Creed, and the 11 Leadership Principles. As a California Scholarship Federation tutor, I do my best to make sure the success of those I help study with. My dream vocation would be to have a successful career as a Judge; this will help provide justice and rehabilitation to society. At North High School, I am in Army Junior R.O.T.C. For both my freshman and sophomore years, I was a platoon sergeant in which I was in charge of twenty cadets (students). I would both learn and teach leadership skills.
