Arist's Definition Of Heroes: Should They Be Justified?

A hero is typically depicted as a caucasian male who is handsome and visibly strong. The typical hero does not match with heroes in today’s reality. Many people can be described as a hero, each with a different gender, culture, race, special quality, and so on. A hero is not justified by their physical qualities, yet they all have slightly similar characteristics and are depicted in many ways in all forms of art for reasons depending on the artist.

A person must learn to be their own hero. When no one else is there to act as a savior or protector, a person must rely on themselves. Almost every issue people come upon can be solved by their own will. The reason heroes should not be justified by physical qualities is because no two people are the same. There are less pieces of art that depict diversity, and even less that depict a person’s hero as themselves. Arists usually depict heroes in art to show a main character who is usually notable, although in this art, the artist has chosen to depict the hero in their way by providing the reader a sense of confidence and having them consider the thought of being their own hero. Not everyone would agree looking into a mirror makes a hero, however, most people have been brainwashed into the stereotypical showings of a hero. The stereotypical hero shames people for being themselves. There is no hero like the heroic figures in books and movies. For this reason, people must take advantage of who they are, take charge of their life and fight the stereotype. Everyone is capable of being the hero that they need to be for themselves, not for anyone else.
