Studies show that since GMO’s were introduced in 1996, there have been numerous health problems, occurring more in the United States. GMO’s can leave material behind when eating too much food containing it, that material can cause organ damage, causing long term problems. Inside GM soys “genes” are inserted, and can transfer into the human's DNA. GM corn can be toxic because of the harsh bacteria living inside it causing massive damage in the organs. Medical groups condemn the use of GM bovine growth hormone, because milk treated from cows has much higher levels of IGF-1, a hormone considered to be a high risk factor for breast, prostate, colon, lung, and other cancers. The transparency of GMOs should no longer exist because, it's wrong for government to deny them their right to know. Humans as consumers should have the right to know what they are consuming and feeding to their children, to make the right choice about what to buy, instead of wasting their money on supplies that would harm them and most likely shorten their lives. Many young people, particularly the poor and powerless, have little education and no social entry point to influence decisions about GMOs. They need to be given every opportunity to participate in the debate concerning the impact of GMOs on their lives. They should also have the right to choose the product that best suits their
