Arguments Against Genetically Modified Food

Advocates of the genetically modified food movement use the argument that the genetically modified crops yield twice as much than traditional crops and with the growing population that the world could not survive without these genetically modified crops. There are several countries that are starving due to famine if genetically modified food can be grown in drought conditions, for this reason; these seeds are justified to be grown to help eliminate world hunger. The genetically modified crops may yield more but at what cost the environment and people they vanishing away of our ecosystems are something most genetically modified sympathizers value these ecosystems. Their products causing the rise in cancer, liver, and gastrointestinal complications
