King John has made many of us very upset and also made us go into wars for no reason. Before the trial of King John, I thought he was very bad at whatever he did. Pregnancy is something that must be taken seriously. It is one of the largest responsibilities a woman can take on in her lifetime. It is expected that a mother should assume full responsibility and ensure that the child is healthy and safe until he or she is able to take care of and provide for themselves Furthermore, a lot of research has shown a direct correlation between tobacco smoking during pregnancies and health problems for both the child and the mother. In result that is why many people debate whether or not woman are entitled the freedom of choice in regard to smoking during pregnancy. Philosopher John Locke would most likely not approve of hindering your own health, however he is a firm believer that a person is entitled to make his or her own choices in regards to their body.…

I have mixed feelings about Jackson. As some say, he did expand the voting base and he struck a blow against the planter Aristocracy that had been running the country. His treatment of the Indians though shows him in a different light. He certainly didn't extend the voting franchise to them. Thumbing his nose at the Supreme Court over the issue gives him an Imperial air.…

Thomas Paine Essay Thomas Paine characterised this country sadly, most of his visionary description doesn't hold true nowadays and is obvious in our current politics and social ideals. The main points at intervals this passage recommend that America could be a country wherever a mess of cultures, religions, and languages exist. Today, in this courtroom John will be found not guilty. The answer is right in front of our faces and to continue this argument would not only waste Mr. and Mrs. Smith’s time, but it also would be wasting the judge and juries time. This particular case should not be looked at as more important that any other case with a similar situation. John did what was right and what was necessary. “Mere ebullitions of passion, impulsive violence, and temporary pain, affection will soon forget and forgive, and each member will find excuse for the other in his own frailties.”…

All John wanted at the end of the play was forgiveness and love. “...I would have your forgiveness Elizabeth”(Miller 1227).Elizabeth loved John and forgave him, but she knew he needed to forgive himself first .Some might argue that John needed to forgive himself and that he would have been able to live with the guilt of lying to stay alive. John needed to forgive himself because he felt unworthy of it he wasn’t like Rebecca Nurse or Martha Corey who were honest, and knew the punishment for that honesty. Finally, John learned to gain forgiveness he needed to forgive…

The death of King Birendra and his family would be beneficial to the U.S. and India indirectly. In fact, India would benefit from the death of King Birendra more than the U.S. would. Madsen states that the main reason for the murder was King Birendra’s refusal to allow outside intervention in the civil war, which began in Nepal in 1996 (Madsen). This was not liked by India and U.S. as they could not take control of the region. So, the only option they saw was to completely wipe out Birendra’s family and help Gyanendra take over the throne.…
