Argumentative Essay: The Murder Of Vanessa Vermont

Decent Essays
Can you solve a murder mystery? Today I am going to tell you who killed Vanessa Vermont. The story started of Vanessa Vermont. First Vermont went to go buy a new broiler and needed an outlet for it which was located over the kitchen counter. Next Vanessa asked a worker to come over and that's when she was found with a fatal head wound. The worker said he never went to the house because he was too busy. He also said that the husband knew how to work with electrical things as well. There's no proof that the worker came over so we took him by his word. Therefore the husband must have killed Vanessa.

There are logical answers from the scene that shows it was him. Even though some people might think the worker killed her, he didn't. The reason why I say this is because a good worker wouldn't leave his tools out especially if he had just killed someone because that would just leave traces of him behind. I recommend the police commissioner to do a lie detector test on both the worker and the husband just to make it clear even though the evidence clearly shows that the husband was the killer. I think the story started off like, Vanessa was cooking possibly for herself or her husband when she got back from getting a broiler. She then called a worker to come help her when the husband overheard and misinterpreted the conversation between the worker and Vanessa and saw the suitcase and figured she was leaving. This made him upset and he killed her after losing control in the kitchen. According to source 2, “Women are much more likely to be victims of domestic violence with the percentage at 85.” This shows that it is much more likely for her husband to have killed her especially if she planned on
