Free college may be beneficial to the community by allowing them with free edcation, but in regard to all the extra stuff college is supposed to consist of, it gives the community false hope. I believe students should take the advantage of getting the free education, after all, college debts are at their highest right now, and it is very troublesome to get rid of them in a short while. The dorms, sports, and food should be coming out of one's own pocket, since the primary reason one is attending college is to get the education, but the extra necessities one needs. It may be a disadvantage for some, because it can get expensive to pay for the extra items, but cutting the amount short on the classes should be what should matter. American universities
