Argumentative Essay On Children With Siblings

“Mom, Miley stole my lipstick again!” This is one of the many arguments that go on in my household. I am the oldest in a family of three young and opinionated girls. Anyone who has a sibling knows there is usually a lot of conflict. Especially in my family, there is a lot of arguing between the three of us. My sisters are both very loud and stubborn, they want everything to go their way. When they set their mind to something there is no one that can change it no matter what they try. I on the other hand am shyer and I usually let things slide. There are many reasons why siblings area constantly fighting. From competing to be the best cook to taking someone’s nice shirt when they are not looking, there is always a reason to argue.

Some days do you think it is you, or some days do you think it is your sister? Children with siblings know that there is conflict when it comes to how the parent treats each child. In some circumstances a child can feel like he or she is being treated differently than another. The children fight because they feel like they should be the one getting celebrated not the sibling. There is a connection when it comes to the order in which the child is born and the amount of approval they receive from their parents. It always seems that the younger children in the family get the most attention and are more likely to get away with something that the older children would not. They are the last child that the parents will raise so it makes since that they would baby them and not want them to grow up. On the other hand, the oldest children are more known to be bossy and controlling. They are the oldest of the siblings and have went through exactly what their younger kin is going through and what they should and should not get away with. As for the middle child, it can go both ways. They are known to be able to get away with more, but they can also be bossy. In my family my middle sister could easily be the bossiest of the house. It is one of the most annoying things when someone takes something of yours without asking you for permission first. This is one of the many reasons that siblings argue. It is most likely one of the most popular. This is the biggest problem in my house. Living in a house with three girls can get very hectic at times. My sisters and I all have little collections of makeup in our rooms. We each usually have something that the other does not have. Makeup is one of the biggest reasons why we argue. My sister Maycee is a natural artist when it comes to makeup. She will do her makeup daily and is not shy to use the bright and bold colors. She has the biggest makeup collection out of the three of us. She has over twenty tubes of lipstick and many different eye shadow pallets. There has been many times that I come home from practice after school to find that some of my makeup is gone. As anyone would guess, Maycee is the one that took it. There is nothing that makes me angrier than someone who takes something without asking first. This is a situation that a parent can handle easily.
