Patrick you had a few interesting points in your discussion. First I should say that yes I agree with your input of how you thought the decision of this ruling should have turned out. Capitalist justice was more just in this scenario and I agree that the lady digging in the trash but in a lot more work than the woman who just walked by the trash to throw the ticket away. Yes, she did have to make an effort to buy the ticket and she states she checked the ticket and throw it in the trash but, Mrs. Duncan to me had more a lot more work.
