There are numerous reasons to why a person should consider being a vegetarian. One key reason is that we need to see the spiritual nature within all living beings, this includes animals. If one believes that there is a greater being (God) and one has to sacrifice animals in order to please this “supreme being” (God), then in my opinion people are going about this the wrong way when slaughtering animals for “traditional” purposes.
