Argumentative Essay: I Do Not Support The Electoral College

I do not support the Electoral College. I feel that it should be taken out because is an unfair opportunity towards the people, because no matter who wins the popular vote, the Electoral College is still going to vote for who they believe should win the election. I believe that it is undemocratic because it’s not an equal opportunity that everyone’s votes count. This systems makes the people feel as if their vote can really make a difference when only 270 votes are needed for a president to win an election no matter how many popular votes they receive. I think it would be a more equal opportunity if it was just the popular votes that determined who would win the election.
