The idea is great but it brings everything to a ridiculous level. If the law was passed it could turn the average joe into a criminal because he accidently put a piece of paper in the compost. well now joe has a record and never ment to actually do that and it was just an accident. The final reason I think this idea will not work and is just down right creepy is the trash police, say you have a really heavy bin do you want people to know how much trash you produce a week or what you specifically produce for trash I thought not. These bins will be monitered at all times and tell people when they are over weight causing people to have to feel uncomfortable with how much they throw out and what they throw out. We don't need laws to make all americans do what almost every american does every day anyways. Although this is a good Idea they took this law to the extreme. The law that was proposed is unnecessary and most people like me dont need a law forcing us to be uncomfortable. I like my privacy in my home and I and many others would like to keep it that way. That is where I stand on this
