You’ve been playing sports since you were old enough to even pick up a ball or swing a bat. Sports mean everything to you, but so do your friends. You work so hard to get better at the sport that you’re in and it seems pointless to even think about giving it up. So which ones do you choose? Katie wakes up each morning, really exhausted and tired from practice that night. Like every morning she wakes up and gets ready, then packs her basketball bag for practice after school. She puts her basketball shoes, shorts, nike socks, and compression shorts into a duffle bag. She still manages to catch a piece of toast coming out of the toaster with some peanut butter on it. By the time the bell rings at the end of 7th period, she heads to her locker to fill her bookbag with all her homework that she will most likely be staying up till midnight to do. After she goes to her locker she slowly heads down the steps to the locker room. Her legs feel like they’re 20 pounds each as she slowly steps down each step. Her team team is about half way done with their season and the games they have next are the most important.
