The reason why is due to employers taking more and more advantage of employees, and employees looking back on what unions do. Unionization is having somebody watching your back and you are always protected. When one says they can live without unions, they should stop and question how their lives would be. Can they live working seven days a week with uncontrollable hours? Could they work without having lunch or bathroom breaks? Could they work knowing they could walk into work and get fired just for looking a certain way or voicing their opinion and their manager don’t like it?
