The Colosseum starting building between 70-72 AD where it had officially opened in 80 AD by Vespasian son, Titus. The Colosseum was built for entertainment as it’s known as an amphitheater doing many things from when it was first built in 80 AD for Gladiator battles, execution of people, wild animal fights and more entainment fun. The Gladiator helmet was used from the Gladiators for a safety protection to keep them safe from any death, this was a major use in the Gladiator Contests.
