The mistreatment of Arab citizens have led to bleak prospects, lack of employment opportunities, a tyrannical leadership, and inadequate political freedom, all of which have been cited as central reasons of the rebellion. I, for one, am in sound support of the general happiness of my citizens; if you are a ruler, you need to be, as I say, “fatherly” to your people. It seems the Arab government thinks otherwise, with their tactics of censoring the press and unfair brutality against innocents illustrating them as a tyrannical monster rather than a beacon of guidance. If they saw themselves not as superior gods to their people, but as mere servants of the state like me, they might be able to see eye-to-eye with their people and prevent this chaos from ever ensuing.
