Aptus Teaching Landscape Project Plan will provide a definition, goals and objectives of the project in addition to an agreement between the Project Sponsor, Steering Committee, Project Manager, Project Team, and other personnel associated with and/or affected by the project. Cutting-edge Adult Day Program – Aptus completed a $3-million renovation on the former Cotton Ginny factory in 2007. Organizations such as CAMH, Corbrook and Singapore’s Rainbow Centre have visited and use the enriched space.
Camp Programs – Aptus developed 3 camp programs for children and adults with complex disabilities. Aptus shares its successful children’s camp program with the Geneva …show more content…
This project will be conducted by Aptus Treatment Centre, on land owned by Aptus that connects to the Anthony Road Park. Aptus has a shared use agreement with the City and the school land is in active use by the community. The Aptus Teaching Landscape will enhance learning green space in Greater Toronto Area as well as in North York through a vocational community programs, including a fruit orchard certificate, environmental education, experimental learning of edible garden and mini-arboretum, in addition to summer camp programming. It is already mentioned that this project is funded by three sponsors to provide a yearly-round nature-focused educational environment and activity hub for both students with complex disabilities and the GTA
