Herodotus histories were considered as the founding work of history in the western literature era. There are many aspects that are recurred to understand history. Apodexis is needed when a demonstration revolves into proof. Aitiai coincided with Istoria, whereas Aitiai is greek for cause and the ability to find out a reason for something. While Istoria focuses on the written accounts of others and their varied histories.

Author Evans made a name for himself when unearthed the Palace of Krossos that is located on the Greek island of Crete and coined the concept of Minoan civilization from the structures and artifacts from the site. Evans was also the first to define Cretan scripts Linear A and Linear B. Both men knew of each other and often visited each other’s site. Three ancient orders of architecture the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. The Doric order originated in western Greece. It is the simplest among the other orders, it can be seen as being short, faceted, heavy columns and no base. The Ionic order came from eastern Greece. It can be distinguished as being slender, fluted pillars with a large bases and two opposed volutes, a spiral or scroll-like ornament.
