Learning geography is more complicated that what we think. The ability to learn it and then teach it, takes more than just looking at a map and been able to label certain parts. Geography can and is very details and perhaps this is why many don’t enjoy this subject or maybe they do. All I know for you to be able to enjoy Geography, you have to enjoy looking at maps, finding out information, and answers. "Educators must reinforce the ideas that the Standards (1994, 18) espouse: "geography is not a collection of arcane information. Places and Regions: A good way to teach students regarding places and region is introducing the topic on culture and how it influences people view and meaning of certain places. Understanding people culture is a step closer to understand countries and how the culture has influence the country.
2. Physical System: One of the best way to explain to students the physical system is to have a lesson on volcanos. To speak about the shape the patterns of earth's surface and how volcanos are created. This will be very interesting and students will excited, especially if you end the lesson with the creation of a class volcano.
4. Human System: The students will learn the different ways human play a big role in the country. How human populations on earth's surface can turn a small rural town into a big urban areas.
5. Environment and Society: This would be an excellent opportunity to teach students regarding population and pollution. Introduce and help students understand how physical systems affect human systems and how humans can prevent a lot of things affecting the earth in a negative way.
