This a biography about my mom,Antigone Sterater/Lee. She is the oldest out of 4 brothers and sister so to be me she has always been a leader and somebody to look up too. She grew up with her mom and her dad in the same house with her and they were married and then in the 6th grade she moved to polkton her mom.This impacted her because when they separated her mom went through a stage of depression, because her mom left her and her siblings for at least over a year .When she first moved to polkton she played outside she didn’t have games,phone,computers,etc. When she moved into her house she didn’t have a inside bathroom they had a outhouse(which is an outside bathroom in a way).
In middle school in 7th grade they moved aging into a mobile …show more content…
When she first saw it her reactions were shocked,confused,worried because she had family that lived in New York. She was confused because she didn't understand how could something like this happen. When it happened the family that lived in New York called to let them know they were okay, she said you could hear the hurt,sadness,not knowing in their voice.
At 25 she had me(Joscilynn).Which she was still in the same predicament because my father and her really didn’t get along at all. It was a broken home because i could remember them arguing.The difference is she had a job she was just “self employed”.
When I asked her how did she feel about us having our first “black” president because our generation was supposed to get the first one, and se responded with yall will get the first black president is wasn’t all the way. When he won her response was she though that a lot of things would change for the better but they didn’t.She wanted to see a difference in our economy,government,rights and it really didn’t change.
On Oct 4,2004 my little brother Immanuel was born. He had the same dad I had, but when my mom got pregnant her and my dad wanted to try to stay together for the better of us.It didn’t go so well as they thought because they were still arguing and not getting
