1. I like the thesis sentence of this essay, because the sentence has clear avenues of the overall research paper. After reading the thesis sentence, “Children being exposed to violence on the media experience negative effects such as aggression on children, harms them, higher crime rates, and developing mental health issues,” I was able to realize that topics which are explained in the following body paragraphs. Also, each body paragraph clearly explains about each topic, so I could understand the whole essay without confusion.

Is there a persuasive conclusion?
The conclusion has restated sentences of the thesis sentence. However, the thesis sentence is not restated in one sentence. Each avenue is restated in one sentence. Namely, three sentences are restated sentences for the thesis sentence.
Any other comments: Because the research paper is about 8 pages, I could not specifically see the grammar. However, I found several grammatical problems during reading the paper. I think the writer needs to care more

I like the topic of this essay because I am interested in the hip hop music, so when I read the title, I felt that I can learn many information of the hip hop. To me who loves music, the paper is impressive and a great chance for learning American

Is the document formatted using MLA style? The document has separated Works Cited pages. However, each paragraph in the document does not include in text citation. As a reader, it was difficult to distinguish which sentences are cited sentences among many sentences in body sections. Unfortunately, the document is PDF file, so I was not able to check the size of margins and font. Ostensibly, this document’s 4 sided margins are 1 inch, and the font size is 12pt.
3. Does it contain a working thesis with three to five avenues of discussion at the end? The last sentence of the introduction is thesis sentence because it includes three avenues. However, the next paragraph is not about the first avenue, “it related to gang.” The second body paragraph is about history of hip hop music. I think this paragraph should be before the thesis sentence. The professor, Anna C. Morrison told me that the thesis sentence should be at the end of introduction, no matter how long the introduction is.
4. Are there body sections for each avenue of discussion?
No. It is difficult to recognize which paragraphs are paragraphs for first body section. Although the thesis sentence has cleared three avenues, the body sections are unnecessarily separated into many

The body of an essay is the part that explains and develops the main idea, or thesis statement. One variation of the body is the middle section of a paragraph. The body of a paragraph supports the topic sentence by proving or disproving it. The body of a paragraph discusses the controlling idea by using facts, arguments, analysis, examples, and other information. A thesis statement introduces the main idea of an essay. The thesis statement is typically located in the last sentence of the introductory paragraph. The thesis statement usually serves as the focus of your essay and should be developed, supported, and explained. Beyond the introduction of the main idea, the thesis statement tells the reader what to expect from the rest of the essay, foreshadows how “I” will depict the subject of discussion, and makes an arguable statement for the reader to interpret for themselves. To be a strong thesis statement, the thesis statement must follow four components: the thesis statement must be narrow and manageable, present your argument, foreshadow your essay, and present an arguable statement.…
