I found this source very interesting. I believe it correlates with my topic because it talks about innocent animals. “God commanded that Israel regularly kill innocent animals in order to satisfy the demands of his divine justice (Lev. 16:1-31). The innocent animals would bear the sin of the people. This bloody display served as a symbol for what was yet to come- when the innocent son of God would offer himself as the true, eternal, substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of all humanity (Rom. 3:21-26, 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 10:1-18).”

This source questions if killing animals for sport would be approved by God. I don’t think he would condone this behavior. We are supposed to rule over the animals, but we should not be torturing them for our pleasure. Many people like to compete to see who has killed the biggest animal, but this should also be considered wrong.
