Annie Oakley: A Tall Tale Hero

A tall tale hero is a character that is “larger than life”. They have human characteristics, but can do certain things other people cannot do. Tall Tale heroes always solve a problem or two. Annie Oakley is a tall tale hero that is outstanding with a gun. Annie Oakley is a tall tale hero because she is one of the best sharpshooters ever. There is not a tall tale story on Annie Oakley. Annie Oakley is can do amazing things with a gun. She was a vaudeville and a Wild West Show performer. Annie Oakley did many tricks that had to be very hard and dangerous. Annie Oakley and her husband, traveled the show for more than 15 years (Annie Oakley Biography par. 5). One of Annie Oakley’s tricks you would have to be very brave to be her assistant.
