Our travel club, which only consisted of myself and my teacher, was joined by students from North Carolina and California. During this time, I walked behind the rest of the group so I could position myself to find the best possible pictures to take home with me. As I turned to the main part of the garden, I saw exactly what I needed; the sun’s rays fell upon the garden, creating the perfect lighting and as the light breeze cooled the area and made the leaves peacefully sway, I knew this was the picture perfect opportunity I was looking for. The soft song that I hummed mixed perfectly with the bird’s song, sending me into another world. The sunshine’s light accented the greens and yellows perfectly as multiple other colors from the flowers filled the empty spaces. My eyes laid upon the exit as I heard the calls for my group to leave and I couldn’t help the sigh that passed through my lips as we were told to board the bus for our next stop. I turned around and looked around the garden one final time; the sun’s rays leaving obvious marks, the cooling shadows hidden under the trees, and the hundreds of blooming flowers.
