Anne Frank: Victims Of The Holocaust

Decent Essays
Anne Frank is one of the most discussed victims of the Holocaust because of the finding of her diary, where she would write detailed accounts of what it was like to be hiding from the Nazis. At just fourteen years old, she has impacted many lives with her wise words and a positive attitude. After learning about Anne Frank, I honestly don’t think any hardship in my life could compare to her suffering. She has single-handedly changed my life forever.
While hiding in the Annex, Anne has taught me many things, and the first one is the to be grateful for everything I have. She had none of our current pleasures, like iPads or computers. She only had a diary and a pen to keep her occupied, and I’m complaining about the fact that my computer overheats.

Once the actors have introduced themselves, the lights dim further. The chorus then goes behind the stage and accompanies the play with poignant acapella. The play begins with Anne's father reading the first monologue. Rather than having Sara Farb, the actor playing Anne, read excerpts of her diary, various cast members read passages of Anne Frank’s actual diary to the audience. This helps us remember that there are more characters in the play than just Anne, and that they are all taking part in the memory of Anne Frank and the Holocaust.…
