In the true story Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, Anne goes through life happy, thoughtful and always tries to make things better. Some examples of this are at hanukkah, when she sings and when she apologized to her sister for hanging out with Peter. At the beginning of the story, they are having a hanukkah dinner and everyone is stressed, except for Anne, she had gifts for everybody. Everybody’s spirits lifted “thank you Anne.” (Goodrich, Hackett, x:xx) Even though there was a war going on outside, she still found a way to make everyone happy and carefree.
