I always thought that this was a very inspiring and very beautiful symbol to me it looked like a female the head is the circle and the arms and the ladies legs that are together for purity. to me it is a peaceful symbol it also reminds me of the Egypt eye. As an amulet, the Ankh is worn for both good luck or fortune and to protect against bad luck or energies. It is seen in Egyptian art as a scepter in the right hand of deities, and as a tool used upon the nostrils of the dead to bring them back to life. The origin of this image is highly debated. Healers often placed the Ankh over wounds or areas that required attention, to promote regeneration and divine healing

The Ankh is a very known Egypt symbol it is even used in their writings. It is for protection and it has both male and female aspects. It has healing properties. It is not really known of the origin of it for sure but it is one of the symbols that stay close to the Egyptians. Many of the Egyptians believed that it was the one tool that would help them with all their troubles but all of them had at least one even if it was in art, writing,wood
