The reality is, animal testing foes directly against the claims in the Bible. When the earth was created, God put Adam in the garden and told him to be in charge of everything, this included the animals (Genesis 2:15, English Standard Version). God did not place man in charge of creation to destroy it, He put man in charge to care for it and help it prosper. “And God blessed them and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth,” (Genisis 1:28,

Animal testing is no longer effective in today’s society. Testing has no purpose, it has been said many a time that it is useless and unnecessary. There is a higher chance of flipping a coin and being accurate in a test than actually doing the research and testing on animals. To see if a new product is safe it goes through a whole process where animals are being mistreated for the benefits of humans. Animals in experiments today are bred for the sole purpose of the particular experiment, so once the experiment ends, the animals have no value, and end up getting euthanized, because they are useless to scientists.…

The Myth of Animal Testing Animal testing has been practiced by humans for centuries and has been found in Greek writing that dates back to 300 BC. Although, in more recent times, specifically the beginning of the 19th century, animal testing has become more prevalent. However, along with this rapid growth of animal testing also came agencies that aimed to put it to a stop. One of the major issues that people had with animal testing was the cruel and inhumane treatment on the animals. In 1866, the first animal Humane Society was created but it wasn't until the 19th century that regulations were set in place to limit and reduce the cruelty brought upon these animals.…

Animal testing has been around for a long time with some unpleasant history. With the expertise in technology not being as advanced and innovative as it is today with using other alternative methods, scientists had tested their theories on animals. Animal testing has been a part of our society since the early 1900s. And it appears to me, that not until around 40 years ago or so, people began to realize that testing animals was inhumane on many different levels. But because we are the human beings that we are, we still try to shy away from a lot of the negative consequences of animal testing. It is easier for us to push aside that which is bad and try only to look at the positive aspects. Yet, in my opinion, the cons outweigh the pros.…

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…
