Stalin used the police force as protection, as Napoleon used dogs for dominance. Both characters are not as educated as their allies, and takes credit from their comrades’ concepts. The puppies in the story, was a forceful army who rebelled against Napoleon’s enemies, this represents the secret police’s loyalty towards Lenin and killed many citizens for disobedience. Boxer, the hard working horse, models communist supporters because he was gullible in believing in the animal farm, but unfortunately was betrayed and killed by Napoleon. The communist supporters were naive, believing Stalin for the better, and stayed loyal to a cruel leader. The supporters were eventually shunned and killed, leaving them tricked and confused. The Skeptical citizens in Russia signified Benjamin, the donkey due to their suspicions about communism. Benjamin was wise and understood what was happening since he could read and write. The skeptical people realized that communism will make things complicated and is chaotic idea that would never work.
