The historical viewpoint towards this article is that students with a different race were seen as being different and useful than U.S Citizen. The government treated them negatively by their language they speak and as well having different face features, especially throughout this time period. If the author could have added a few picture of the students who experience segregation this, then this could have supported his point throughout his essay. Without a visual source of the people who were living throughout this time period, the reader can't imagine what was occurring during this time. What I liked about these article is that the author provided great information, I also thought that the table he added was helpful to understanding about the founding of a elementary school. I found interesting reading about students throughout a different time period. The author could have make his work stronger if he could have added images of these mexicans students, how they were segregations throughout the Anglo-Saxon Ideologies. I will have liked to have a visual source about this event, how they felt to be segregated just to receive a decent education from the government. With having this images included then us the reader could have had a clearer look of what was occurring at this time. Otherwise everything else was excellent, I enjoyed reading this article about students and learning about how they were protesting for their rights throughout this
