Andrea's Three Adjectives

Caring, loving, and supporting describe the person in mind. One would be hard pressed to find a better combination of three adjectives as positive as the ones above. The person I would relate those three adjectives to is named Andrea, and I have known her my whole life. From the beginning to the end I believe those three adjectives will always befit Andrea. Whenever I needed anything Andrea would help me out; big or small she was always there for me. When I needed someone to listen and offer advice Andrea was all ears. If I needed support Andrea was always ready to help me through whatever I needed. From the start Andrea was so selfless with all the care, love and support she offered. A mother’s natural instinct to care, love and support their child is universal. As much as I would wish it to be special to me it is not. That proves how ‘Mom’ is the perfect nickname, the number of positive stereotypes that come with the nickname are almost hard to count. I had made a hard emphasis on caring, love and support, however, there are so many adjectives that describe a Mom; I just picked the three that were most important to me. With each different person, there may be three equally as important and complementing adjectives that they would describe their mom with. Leading me to the main point on why the nickname Mom is so important. If I told you that I have someone in my life who is named Andrea, then all you could know based on what I told you is that I know someone named Andrea. If I say my Mom’s name is Andrea, then the nickname of Mom would lead you to believe that Andrea is caring, loving and supportive. Which is because the name Andrea in no way accurately describes my Mom. The contrast between the what you can infer with and without the nickname of ‘Mom’ is more than noticeable. Until now I have never thought about the difference that the nickname ‘Mom’ makes, but after looking into the importance I have new admiration for the nickname.
