When the United States was creating a government they looked back on Romans and Greeks ideas to create the government we have today. Which was a Democracy that is for all the people. They also had the ideas for a senate these were various legislative group of bodies, these are the people who help make decisions in laws. The first three branches of government was created after 509 BC, but started off with the oldest and wealthiest families during the time. This lead to the middle class and poor people to begin to feel left out of the executive decisions that were being made. The Romans also invented the veto, is where the two consuls could vote on the laws and one could throw out the other ones decision which would completely decide if the laws actually become laws. The Greeks added vowels and consonants, where the Egyptians did not have them in there, which caused the Greeks to take the credit for the first alphabet. Now the Romans have impacted many different languages including French, Spanish, Hailins, Portuguese, and English. Actually 60 percent of the English language has came from Latin, but they all have some kind of connection to Latin, causing these languages to be connected to the Romans.
