Ancient Civilization Vs. Classical Civilizations

Civilization was an inevitable turn for humanity, what with our love of organization and categorizing. However, despite the fact that humanity itself has existed for well over 25,000 years, civilizations did not emerge until around 3500 BCE. Before this existed what are known as early agricultural societies, which are quite different from the later-blooming early agricultural civilizations. The civilizations differed from each other as well, whether pre-classical versus classical or certain classical civilizations being better at certain things than others. Like the agricultural societies and early agricultural civilizations, they had their differences. The pre-classical civilizations often struggled to have lasting power because they were horrid to the people they had conquered. These conquered people, of course, were not too excited about being treated horribly. Thus, multitudes of revolts took place and the civilizations were frequently overthrown. This is not to say, of course, that the Classical civilizations were free of strife/ revolt; the Roman civilization was wrought with unease brought on by slave revolts, especially towards the end of its existence. The classical civilizations were far better to their conquered peoples, though, and the trend there was to help people adjust to life under new rule as opposed to simply forcing them into a blind and cruel submission. One culture had a religion which they did not even impose on their conquered people, allowing the ruled to practice the religion of their people as they desired. Conversion to their religion was enthused, of course, but not by any means required. Another theme which separated the pre-classical from the classical was the growth of empire forms of government. These civilizations were expanding massively, pushing their borders to extremes which could never before have been fathomed. It is a social and cultural innovation which is prevalent today. Originally, yoga was invented as a tool to ease one into the mindset of meditation, It is supposed to align the chakras, or energy fields of the body, so the practice becomes more balanced and united with the universe and all that is.
